The place is short walk to a very cool non-touristic market and the downtown area. Has big size and beautifully maintained room with ac. Staff is fairly friendly, great job everyone.

Nice place in every aspect. Setting near a great local market as well as the city centre. Btw, located down another alley.

It was such a unique experience watching our kids learn about sustainable farming and getting their hands dirty planting vegetables. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making sure our children were engaged and enjoying themselves. It was a great way to teach them about the importance of food production and having a connection to nature.
My wife says that it would have been even better if there were more hands-on activities for the kids at the hotel.

I had been wanting to visit the Siem Reap Art Center Night Market for a long time, so I chose Uncle'S House solely because of its location. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the recreation opportunities they offered, including bicycle rentals. I also liked that they focus on developing new products with better performance and functionality.
Reception was unaware of our arrival despite prior communication. No key for the dorm room allowed unauthorized access, which made for a strange experience.

This hostel is a hidden gem! It's a cozy and clean place, perfect for those who want an authentic experience away from the touristy areas. the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early and arranging convenient transportation. the location is ideal, just a short walk away from the city center and close to the famous Angkor Wat. We loved the affordable bike rental option, allowing us to explore the area at our own pace.
The hostel is a bit far from the main attractions and there aren't many shops nearby. the cleanliness could also be improved, especially in the bathrooms and common areas.

I had a wonderful stay at Uncle's House. The staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check-in late without immediate payment and arranging a tuktuk for our visit to Angkor Wat. The hostel itself was clean and comfortable, with good value for money. The peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff made it a great place to relax and enjoy Siem Reap.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Pros of my stay at this amazing place were the peaceful atmosphere and the clean and cozy dorm room. Each bed had its own fan and there were two bathrooms available. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner served were delicious and reasonably priced. I also loved the cute and clean area and yard where I could relax away from the crowds. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. Plus, they offer bicycle rentals for free for up to two hours to explore the nearby city center. I highly recommend this place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I really got my money's worth at Uncle's House. The room was great, with comfortable single beds and a fan to keep cool. The location was perfect, right next to a local market where I could grab a delicious breakfast for under $1. The staff were friendly and helpful, even offering Khmer language lessons!
The only thing that could have been improved was the food for breakfast. It would have been nice to have a bit more variety and larger portions.

Uncle's House had great staff and a nice atmosphere. They even helped me get discounted bus tickets. The hostel was clean and had cool decorations. Definitely exceeded my expectations for the price.
No toilet paper in the bathrooms - a unique, eco-friendly approach.

I recently stayed at a 2-star hotel in Siem Reap for a work trip. I chose this hotel because it provides a comfortable and affordable stay. The rooms were clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay.
The only downside I experienced during my stay was the limited availability of high-speed internet. As a businessman, I rely heavily on a stable and fast internet connection for my work.

Uncle's House in Siem Reap was the best backpacking hostel I've ever stayed at. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and providing the bed we had booked. They were also very informative and attentive throughout our stay. the reception even followed up on our airport arrival and arranged for a convenient tuk, tuk pick, up. the location was ideal, being very close to Angkor Wat, and we were able to cycle there using the affordable bike rental service available at the hostel. the in, house restaurant provided delicious options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, fostering a sense of community among travelers. the room was comfortable, the AC worked well, and the cleanliness was exceptional. Plus, the free and reliable WiFi was a great perk. Cons: Nothing bad to say. 🙂.
